About Help Toolz

What this site is

Help Toolz is a free collection of browser-based tools across time, money, real estate, e-commerce, travel, design, and developer utilities. Every tool runs entirely in your browser — your inputs (cap rate calculations, regex patterns, world clock zones, tipping queries) never leave the device.

The site exists because the existing options for most of these tools are slow, paid, behind a sign-up wall, or buried under affiliate-link articles. We just put the actual tool on a page.

How it works

Each tool is a standalone page. You open the page, the tool works. No accounts, no email capture, no premium tier, no "sign up to see more". The data behind each tool — fee schedules, cap rate ranges, country tipping norms, cron parsing — is hand-curated and updated when underlying numbers change.

State you create (a saved palette, a set of timezones, a cron expression) is stored in your browser's localStorage on your device. We do not have a database of user inputs. If you clear browser data, your saved settings are erased — they were never on our servers.

How we pay for it

Help Toolz runs ads via Google AdSense. Ads appear in fixed slots and do not influence the data, calculations, or recommendations any tool makes. Where a tool offers an opinion (e.g. cap rate verdict, e-commerce break-even red flags), it is the same opinion we'd give if there were no ads. We don't accept sponsored placements in tool data.

If you'd rather not see ads, an ad blocker won't break the tools. The tools work the same with or without ads.

What we don't do

A few things this site does not do, on purpose:

• No account creation or email capture
• No "premium" or paid tier behind any tool
• No selling of user data — we don't collect any to sell
• No affiliate-link articles disguised as tools
• No newsletter pop-ups
• No cookie consent dance for inputs you give the tools — those stay on your device
